Just Pressed: New Books by Authors on WordPress.com
Gabrielle Bell, a cartoonist based in Brooklyn, New York, has published a new book, Truth Is Fragmentary: Travelogues & Diaries. Raw, revealing, and sometimes surreal, this comic diary serves up what Gabrielle is known for â her humor and introspection â as she muses on daily life and chronicles her travels around the world, from France to Sweden to Colombia.
Gabrielle is a WordPress.com blogger to watch: in the past, her work has been selected for numerous notable anthologies (such as the Best American Comics series) and her last book, The Voyeurs, was named a best graphic memoir of 2012.
In addition to Truth is Fragmentary, check out her multi-part series, Siberia, and other cool projects â from panels to posters â on her blog.

Everyone knows they should eat healthy food, right? But when it comes down to it, itâs just so much easier to grab nâ go from your local fast food or fast casual/Starbucks/convenience store/etc. than actually take the time to make a meal.  You know as well as I do that when a recipe says it takes 20 minutes to make it doesnât include in all the chopping and dicing and thatâs just time that many people donât have in their day anymore. Thereâs a new breed of company thatâs catching a lot of attention these days from customers and investors for the way theyâre trying to solve these two problems â healthy eating and not enough time.
